In this, the first of three "In Session" nights to be held at The Grant Arms hotel in the run-up to the main festival, Shetland's Hom Bru
take to the stage to perform the songs and music of their island home. The current line-up still includes three of the band's founder
members from the late 1970's and whilst probably thankful to have lost the tag as the wild men of folk, Hom Bru still attract great audiences
wherever they appear and catching the band live is still as entertaining a musical experience as you are likely to enjoy anywhere. Support comes from Speyfest
favourites Redd-Up, making a welcome return to this year’s programme.
When the stage shuts down the music will continue in the bar.
