Dundonian Michael Marra is one of Scotland's most talented songwriters and one of Scottish music's best kept secrets. In September 2007 he released a new CD titled "Quintet" featuring five songs created in five days about five musicians - Peerie Willie Johnson, Peter McGlone, Thomas Fraser, Martin Carthy, and Dr John. Michael has worked on several theatre productions including the opera "Nan Garland", and a new production of "The Demon Barber", which opened in November 2007 at Perth Theatre in Scotland to critical acclaim.
